A PROVEN CATALYST FOR THE GLOBAL CITY’S VALUE GROWTH
March 2026 has marked significant progress in the infrastructure development of Eastern Ho Chi Minh City, as a series of key transportation projects have accelerated simultaneously. The strategic infrastructure network surrounding The Global City is gradually being completed, forming an integrated connectivity ecosystem and establishing a solid foundation for the value growth of this internationally standardized central urban area.
According to recent observations, Lien Phuong Road, after five months of two-way operation, has been running smoothly with increasing traffic volume. The route continues to affirm its role as a direct connector, enhancing accessibility to the urban area.
At the eastern gateway, the An Phu Interchange—one of the city’s key infrastructure projects—was officially opened to traffic in February 2026. Currently, the N1, N3, and N4 overpass branches are being fast-tracked, with many major structural components already completed, gradually forming a seamless traffic axis connecting the urban area to the city center.
Notably, the Ring Road 3 project is entering its final sprint phase. The eastern elevated section, approximately 15 km in length with four lanes, has begun asphalt paving and is expected to open to traffic by April 30, 2026. Once completed, this route will significantly expand regional connectivity, strengthening links between the eastern area and neighboring provinces.
In addition, the Thu Thiem – Long Thanh railway project has been officially approved for implementation. Spanning approximately 42 km with 20 stations, the railway is being advanced under a special mechanism, aiming for groundbreaking within 2026. The starting station at Thu Thiem—adjacent to The Global City—will serve as a key transit hub, enabling fast connections between the eastern area, the city center, and Long Thanh International Airport in the future.
Amid the rapid progress and completion of strategic infrastructure axes, The Global City is increasingly establishing its position at the heart of the interregional transportation network. This is considered a crucial foundation driving long-term growth potential, while reinforcing its role as a new central icon with global living standards in Ho Chi Minh City.
